Ubisoft decided to keep the game under closed beta status for the time being. They have noticed a few problems across all platforms. They have been facing matchmaking time errors as well as disconnection issues.

Ubisoft stated, “We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”

The game was meant to start its open beta across Xbox One and PlayStation 4 yesterday. Yet Ubisoft has declared that an open beta version will be in the future.

Ubisoft also made it clear that despite the delay in releasing an open beta, this will not effect the release for the final game.

Ubisoft wrote, “We are confident the game will work as intended since the known issue will be fixed soon. Therefore the launch will not be impacted by this issue.”

So, we can only wait for the open beta to be released sometime soon and look forward to the ultimate release of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
