I can’t really help much, but can sympathize. You see, there’s been a fly buzzing around my room for the past two days so I’m in the same boat. I killed it but it’s still here. Guess there must have been two – or it’s a zombie fly. Alright, alright, enough about my fly problem. Because I know of a couple Minecraft mods that might help you feel more powerful (in the game).
10. Budschie’s Morph Mod
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.16-1.18 You know what’s worth more than diamonds and emeralds? Souls. This isn’t some anti-materialist feel-good sentiment, nor will I try to get you to repent for your sins right now. In fact, I’m going to be doing the opposite. I’m going to encourage you to commit even more sins. And not some tiny misdemeanor-level sin. Nope. You’re going to be committing murder. That’s because with Budschie’s Morph Mod, you can collect the souls of your enemies. When you kill a mob, you get the ability to morph into them. Wave that species-fluid flag proudly! This isn’t just some cosmetic thing, either. You also get the powers of the creature you’re morphed into – so if you kill a blaze, you can shoot fireballs. Morphing works with other players too, so if you ever feel envious of another player, start sharpening your diamond sword!
9. Limitless
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.16-1.18 You can make some really powerful tools with this mod – everything from swords and pickaxes to fishing rods and hoes! That’s because this mod eliminates the enchantment level limit. Well, there is technically still a limit. It’s 2147483647. Sorry to those of you that wanted a sharpness 2147483648 sword. The mod also disables the bookshelf limit and increases its range. So if you want your extremely sharp sword, hit the library! Ask them if you can sign a couple bookshelves out.
8. Mekanism
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.7, 1.10-1.12, 1.15-1.16, 1.18 Mekanism is a technology mod that adds 3 tiers of machinery to the game: low, mid, and high tier. Machinery can be used to automate tedious tasks and gather resources. This mod loves maximizing production value and hates mining. Proof: you can quintuple the ingots you get from an ore. Mekanism is a mod that will make any other machinery mod look like it was made by The Flintstones. Is this mod too overpowered? Is this much technology a mistake? Try Mekanism and find out.
7. Draconic Evolution
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.12, 1.16 This mod’s seemingly overpowered nature has become a running joke in the mod-enthusiast community. Draconic Evolution adds an item called draconium ore, which serves as the foundation of everything else this mod offers. This includes tools, machines, and items, all of which are very powerful. This might be a controversial addition to this list though, because many users believe that this mod isn’t quite as overpowered as people make it out to be. While the items Draconic Evolution offers are insanely powerful, they are also quite difficult to get. Once you do get them though, you’re pretty much the most feared living thing in all of existence, paralleled only by centipedes. You might have an arsenal of incredibly sharp swords but you can’t beat a guy with a hundred legs.
6. The Last Sword You Will Ever Need
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.9-1.10, 1.12, 1.18 The Last Sword You Will Ever Need is a mod that contains the last sword your enemies will ever see (naturally). With this sword, you’ll be able to instantaneously slaughter your enemies. No exaggeration here – this sword can one-shot most mobs. Acquiring this legendary sword will require you to beat the Enderdragon though, so until then, you’ll have to at least two-shot enemies. If you’re unhappy with the overpoweredness of your sword, the solution is not to make it less powerful. What you need to do is double down and make your sword even more powerful. The mod allows you to level your already godly sword up even more! And if that wasn’t enough, the mod also comes with a set of powerful armor. After all, a powerful sword needs some powerful armor to go with it!
5. ProjectE
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.7-1.12, 1.14-1.16 The law of equivalent exchange is the idea that to get something, you must first lose something with equivalent value. This isn’t one of the laws of physics, by the way – this is from an anime called “Fullmetal Alchemist.” In the anime, this rule is used as the basis for alchemy. Characters need to make a sacrifice before doing some magic. ProjectE brings this law of equivalent exchange into Minecraft. With how common floating blocks are in this game, this law of equivalent exchange will have more of an impact on your Minecraft experience than the laws of gravity. With ProjecE, you can transmute items into energy-mass currency. With energy-mass currency, you can buy more items. Get it? Equivalent exchange.
4. Invincible Players
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.16-1.17 This mod is basically Minecraft if it had a mode even easier than peaceful. The mod disables dying… for the most part, at least. There still are some ways to die, but you’d have to either try really hard or be hated by the universe for it to happen. Seriously, if you manage to die while using an invincibility mod, just know that it was probably the all-time dumbest way you could possibly have died. Also, hire an exorcist, because you’re obviously cursed. Invincible Players is a great mod if you just want to peacefully build something without fear of falling off the thing you’re building. And if you also want the challenge of finding materials yourself.
3. Xray Mod
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.13, 1.15-1.19 This is quite the overpowered mod. You’ll be metaphorically walking through walls and literally seeing through them! This lets you see through blocks that were not meant to be seen through. And that means you can see right through the grass and stone blocks that are trying to hide your diamonds. Be warned though: this kind of mod is bannable on most multiplayer servers. I can’t imagine a player with unlimited access to diamonds would be too good for a server’s economy.
2. Finder Compass
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.12-1.19 Finder Compass gives you a compass that isn’t drawn to magnetic waves. Instead, it’s conveniently drawn to diamonds, strongholds, mob spawners, and other things that you may want to find. The endermen will be overjoyed when they hear about this mod. Now that you know about Finder Compass, there’s not as much use for those eyes of enders! I guess they’re kind of fun to throw, but come on, think about the endermen.
1. Bedwars Item Generator
Check Out This Mod Supported versions: 1.12, 1.16-1.18 Most servers with the bedwars minigame have generators that produce Minecraft’s gems and minerals. Guess you could call that a gemerator. Or if it’s a mineral generator, a… mineral-erator? Okay, I don’t know how to make that one work. Anyways, this mod lets you craft these generators. Once crafted, all you’ve got to do is wait and out will come the item you desire. Unless you desire a dead bush or something. These generators only create gems and minerals. No dead bush for you. But this is a great mod if you want to sit back and relax while diamonds materialize out of thin air. They say time is money – but in Minecraft, it’s iron, gold, diamonds, and obsidian.
